Rotary Club of Kirksville
06 JUNE 2019
Program: Red, White and Blue Festival;
Debi Boughton

Debi Boughton is Kirksville's Tourism Director, and she talked with us about the town's upcoming Red, White, and Blue Festival.  She led the club in a Red, White, and Blue Trivia game where we learned that the first festival was held in 2005.  We also learned other things, including the dates and times one can legally shoot off fireworks in Kirksville city limits (30JUN-05JUL, 9AM – 11PM), that the host club for this year's Joint Service Club Breakfast is the NorthStar Club, there were 68 cars in the classic car show last year, and that Janet Gremaud’s pie sold for $50 at last year's Red, White, and Blue Festival. Theme for this year’s parade is “Sweet Lane of Liberty”. See the attachment below for the schedule of events.
