Rotary Club of Kirksville - Thousand Hills
November 01, 2018
PROGRAM - Jeff Arp; Classification Talk

Jeff Arp gave a classification talk to the club this morning.  Jeff is the Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Kirksville.  He and his wife, Lynn, moved to Kirksville in August of 2017, and Jeff joined our Club shortly after. He grew up in Muscatine, Iowa.  Jeff said he met his wife when he was five and asked her to marry him when he was six, and every year after that until she finally did marry him at the age of 18.  He talked about his experiences in the different churches he has ministered in throughout his career, and his experiences in other occupations and volunteer organizations.  He joined the Warrensburg Rotary Club when he was 30, and has held several leadership positions in Rotary throughout the years. Jeff has moved several times to many different areas in the country but always seeks out a local Rotary when he is in a new environment, because he believes in what the organization stands for, and the good works that we do. We are glad he found our club, here in Kirksville!

Marilyn R. said that she recently learned she might actually be a Canadian!
