PROGRAM: Kirksville Daily Express:
Jason Hunsacker
Jason Hunsacker from the Kirksville Daily Express came to speak with us about the changes that paper is making. Starting next week, the paper is going from 6 days a week to 2 days a week in print. Will continue to provide the same journalist services but only in electronic form and not in print. Cost and demand drove the decision. Trying to preserve the things people like and not short people on things like comics, crossword puzzle, hints form Heloise, etc. Updating the website numerous times per day – current breaking news shows on website that might take a couple days to get into a print edition. Current subscription just runs into the new format until it runs out.  The Crier will get wrapped into the Wednesday edition.  Wednesday and Friday are the two days that the print edition will be available.
