This week at Rotary, Kevin Powell from the Missouri Department of Conservation came to speak on Conservation. He spoke on the invasive weeds on lakes at this time of the year, the new K9 teams for the conversation department, and all day Turkey hunting this year!

Breanne Hunt, executive director of Lifeline in Kirksville, was the featured speaker at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Kirksville-Thousand Hills. Lifeline's purpose is to help individuals who find themselves facing unexpected pregnancies. The organization provides support, encouragement, referrals to other providers, educations, and supplies for expectant parents and babies. All services are provided free of charge. Lifeline is community supported, and is a Christ-centered ministry. The organization also provides educational programs in over 50 area schools.
